Cyntia Legal

The same engine, with the legal frame on.

Legal is Cyntia Intelligence pointed at one kind of work: reading contracts and comparing their versions, drafting deeds and agreements, reading plans, and checking that a document says what it has to say. It is not another system to learn — it is the same one, with the criteria a legal team would have applied written into the frame.

How it reads

This is the diagram from Intelligence, and that is on purpose: underneath, it is the same engine. A document comes in, the rules frame what the model may conclude, and what comes out is one answer instead of three. What Legal changes is who writes the rules.

  • The rules frame the model
  • The model only answers inside them
  • One input, moving

A model with an opinion is not a legal opinion

Input Model A different answer each time

A model on its own

Ask a general model about a clause and it will answer. Ask it twice and it may answer differently. That is fine for a summary and useless for a contract, because what matters is not that the answer sounds right — it is that it can be defended, and that the next one matches it.

Input Model Output Rules The same answer, and it can be audited

A model inside a frame

The criteria are written down before anything is read: which clauses have to be there, what counts as a change of substance, what a plan has to comply with. The model works inside them, so the answer is the same on Monday and on Friday and somebody can say where it came from.

Whatever lands on the desk

A contract to review, two versions to compare, a plan to read, a draft to produce. They come in from wherever the work already comes in from, and they come back with the criteria applied and with the reasoning attached.

Reading a plan is not reading a document, and it is the part that surprises people: what a drawing has to comply with can be checked in the same pass as the clauses of the contract that commissioned it.

What Legal does

Four jobs. All four run on Intelligence; what makes them legal is the criteria they are held to.

  • 01

    Contract review

Clause by clause against what your side requires. Not a summary of the contract — a list of what is missing, what changed and what you would not have signed.

  • 02

    Version comparison

What moved between the draft that went out and the one that came back. The dangerous edit is never the one they told you about.

  • 03

    Drafting

Deeds, contracts and agreements produced from the house templates, with the data of the case already in them. Somebody still signs it; nobody has to retype it.

  • 04

    Plan reading

Vision over drawings: what is there, what is missing, and whether it complies with what it had to comply with.
